Take one controlled step at a time.

Quick start

1. Use Step test when you have only a rough starting time.
2. Use 21-step correction after exposing a real neutral-density wedge and reading its solid step.
3. Use Lamp distance only when the same point-like light moves; confirm the result with a physical test.
4. Open test details, record the screen-room setup, and print the sheet before washout.

If the result looks wrong

Check that every time and distance is greater than zero and that step numbers are whole numbers from 1 through 21. If every test zone washes away, raise the base bracket. If every zone closes detail, lower it. Also inspect film density and contact instead of assuming time is the only variable.
